My life as an artist might be easier to manage if I didn't have so many wonderful people to partner with. Here are the most important combinations in my life at present, including of course the thing I do all by myself...

Annie Ivarsson

Annie is a young woman who came to me for a singing lesson in January 2025 and turned out to be one of the most impressive talents I've ever met. It took about a month before I asked her to join me in a permanent duo. She's got a fantastic ability to absorb complex material and to sing it all with ease and a very swinging time feeling. It's a joy to sing with her, the easiest thing in the world! Our duo features songs of my own, humor and romance, conversation and counterpoint.
When we can do it, we make augment our duo into a quartet with Magnus Peterson on bass, and Sebastian Voegler on drums, two fine jazz musicians, each with the sensitivity to support what we're doing without disturbing the conversation!

Mandy & Andy - Amanda Ginsburg

Amanda came to me as a 19-year old looking to study jazz and quickly became an all-time favorite. It took a few years, but she became a star in the Swedish jazz scene, with two Grammy awards for best jazz album, and an adoring public that spans the range of ages from teenagers to 80-somethings. We've got three albums so far, featuring songs of mine, including a quite a few things we've written together.
